30 Hands App

30 Hands App

Description
30 Hands is a higher level "creating app"  that can easily be used by students across all content areas.  The app store states that "it allows students, teachers and anyone with creativity to easily create stories or presentations based on photos, images or slides using an iPad, iPhone, or iPod."  Presentations or stories can be narrated, emailed, saved to Google Drive after email, or easily saved to the camera roll and uploaded to YouTube by the teacher.

How To
5 Easy Steps:
1.  Add images from camera roll, take photos, or draw on slides
2.  Arrange them into any order by dragging them
3.  Record Audio For Each Slide
4.  Preview your creation
5.  Publish it as a video to your camera roll

After that, students can email the video to the teacher, upload it to KidBlog, or the teacher can post it to YouTube from student iPad to later post on class website.

Final thoughts....
Why does the teacher always make the flipped video used for homework? Why not let students create flipped videos?  Why not with a partner?  Choose a current topic and give students the opportunity to flip what they know using the 30 Hands app?  Just remember to check the rough draft before they record to make sure the information you will be posting for others is correct.  Post all the videos in one night to give students a choice of which videos to view for homework.  This would work great as a review before a test or as an exit slip.
